Yesterday was a Tuesday full of technical challenges with two of my devices. You don’t realize how much you rely on technology until it’s taken away from you.
The day started as any normal, Tuesday with tech up and running. Then the challenges began with my Chromebook. An update presented itself and I opted to install the update. I’ve has this Chromebook for probably a couple of years now and updates have been without incident. Until today!
All of a sudden I was unable to relog into the Chromebook and was told by the Chromebook that my password wasn’t recognized. Thankfully I could use the desktop computer and found out the following.
Of course, I wasn’t able to address the Chromebook issue uninterrupted. Finally, late in the afternoon, I found a workaround and we’re back up and running on the Chromebook.
Then I think possibly my iPhone was feeling empathetic and decided to lose all connectivity with our cell phone provider. No calls in or out, which can be a blessing and a curse. Fortunately, with internet connectivity, I was able to contact our carrier’s tech support staff. And within 30 min the phone was back and connected to our 5G network.
