A selection of three different resources regarding the possibility of a second stimulus check: the Senate is in working session for another 16 days of 2020. The House of Representatives is in a working session for another nine days in 2020.
Two of the three above noted stories highlight the need for government action to resolve the stimulus. The third story does suggest that those who are or might be in financial troubles take their own action.
It would seem that the collective reliance on the federal government for the health of the economy is the exact opposite of the intent of the founding fathers. It would also seem that federal, state, and local governments have the current ability to set the economy back on course today.
However, the chances of their being such a bold individual or set of individuals in the halls of governments are doubtful. Open the country and let people get back to work. Allow the engine of business to begin once again to work.
Let's have people back to work in their places of business. Let's have the small business entrepreneur open their shops and welcome back their customers and clients. Continuing to maintain the wait and see attitude for our economy is beneficial to no one.
